Family Time

How wonderful was Thanksgiving this year. For the first time I really felt like an adult. My mom asked for my help, not like a kid but a gown up and really valued my options. That means so much to me.
Watching my nephew, Ethan, for his first Thanksgiving was so wonderful. Every smile and giggle just reminds me how we should look at the world through the eyes of a child. For it is the heart's innocence that allows us to have the faith it takes to make it from this life to the eternal one. How wonderful that God sees us like I see Ethan. So pure and holy and innocent. May we all see ourselves this way.

Ethan was happy to be on Grandpa's new motorcycle. Watch out or he'll be wanting one real soon! He looks like a born rider.

Jim, my brother's Father-in-law was hillrious as the Grand Master Turkey, (had to take that one Amber :). He and my dad were like little kids rolling in the leaves.

Everyone had a great time enjoying our wonderful meal and fellowship. Afterwards it was so nice outside that we took advantage of it and all of us played outside. Ethan enjoyed the leaves, we enjoyed Ethan in them.

Family is so precious. How greatful I am to be blessed with a family this wonderful.
