What a busy, tiring, great weekend

This weekend was a good one. Good times, Good Friends. Friday Night we ended up sleeping over at our friends' Don and Jennifer. We were helping Don with theatre homework and than watched LOTR 2. The movie was over a 3:30 am so Don and Jennifer had us stay over. Thanks guys!

Saturday JW had to do some catch-up work so we went out and did tape maintenance on a server. Well, he did, I played on the computer :)

Sunday our church, (CenterPoint, www.centerpointfamily.org) had Kevin and Anne Durant (www.durantministries.org) in. Man, that was some great teaching! They stayed until Monday night and if you weren't there boy did you miss it. They talked about being with God and really being there. You know sometimes we go to be with God and really aren't there. Our body is but no one's really home. God wants all of us and

sometimes, well most of the time we don't stop long enough to have a conversation with Him. Little do we work on relationship. Then they talked about really showing you live for God. Too often we will shout at games and such but at church we won't jump or shout because "that's not my personality." Where in the Bible did God say rejoice and shout for me when it fits your personality? No where. He just said rejoice!

Today was a bit hard. It's so easy to go to great meetings than get really discouraged. Today I had face that being who I am is alright. Even if it means I'm unconventional. I don't think there is anything I have ever done that would fit into traditional or normal. SO WHAT! Now if only I can keep remembering that.
